
Public Foundation "Ergene" is a nongovernmental and noncommercial organisation, established on January 3, 2006.
Mission
Public Foundation "Ergene" was founded on principles of legitimacy and humanity, independence and publicity. Our organization was established with an aim to cooperate with programs, purposed to improve the social life of population, support and develop the healthcare services, help to socially vulnerable strata of population, and other programs.
Our project today
"Breast Cancer Control Program in the Kyrgyz Republic"
From November 2009, PF "Ergene" began to work on Breast Cancer Control Program, financed by Swiss Cooperation Office in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Project is focused on improving quality of life and medical care of women, it also envisages involving women to solving problem of breast health by their empowerment. But nevertheless, project is planning to involve members of families, especially husbands. Both men and women will receive the same information on prevention of cancer diseases and their early detection. In the framework of the program special attention will be given to support from husbands.

2009-05-29 World Cancer Campaign
World Cancer Campaign initiated in 2005 by the International Union against Cancer (UICC) is continuing. In the frame of this Campaign UICC issued the Report “Protecting our children from second-hand smoke” in English for World Cancer Day, 4 February 2008.
